Born in 1971 in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, RolanD B31 is a DJ and producer whose musical journey began exactly where all great stories do — on the dancefloor. Named after the iconic Roland TR-909 drum machine, the B31 identity is built on one unbreakable rule: maximum energy, always.
Roland cut his teeth spinning across the bars and clubs of his hometown, commanding dancefloors with a wide-ranging, high-octane selection that quickly made him one of the most sought-after names on the local circuit. His ability to read a crowd and deliver relentless, feel-good energy turned every night into an event.
After stepping away from the decks for a period, he returned with sharper instincts and a fresh creative drive — same raw energy, evolved sound. In 2020, Roland expanded his craft into music production, releasing a string of EPs across genres including acid, techno, and high-tempo electronic, all stamped with his signature intensity.
